Norway goes electric in cars

Share of electric vehicles sold in March 2019 in Norway was 58,0%. In 2018. it was a total of 31,2%. In 2018. top selling model was Nissan’s Leaf and in the previous month Tesla Model 3.

Why is Norway going electric? Country helped with lower import duties, taxes and registration. No road tolls, free ferry rides and allowance of bus lanes usage in city areas. Some of these benefits for electric cars are going to be fading out by 2021. but it probably helped a lot.

There is another thing. Norwegians can afford that investment.
